Smoked salmon/cured salmon with creme cheese and salsa

Chop tomatoes and mix them with finely chopped red onions and finely chopped chives. Stir everything together in oil and vinegar to make the salsa. Place the salsa in the fridge until serving. Cut the pieces of bread in two, and spread the cheese richly on each piece. Place smoked or cured salmon slices over the cheese. Top it off with a tea spoon of salsa on each sandwich, and sprinkle fresh-ground pepper on top. Add salsa right before serving.

You need:

  • 5 pieces of bread (preferably whole grain)
  • 200 gr sliced smoked or cured salmon
  • 200 gr natural creme cheese
  • 8-10 cherry tomatoes
  • 1/2 red onion (finely chopped)
  • A pinch of chives
  • 1 tbsp high-quality vinegar
  • 2-3 tbsp oil
  • Fresh-ground black pepper
